Say what? That’s right, you read the title correctly, text-books are the greatest gift of all. Lets think about it. Textbooks are expensive. Some students can spend close to $1,000 in books for ONE semester! That’s crazy. So what can you do about it? Ever heard of a gift-exchange? Why not have a text-book exchange? This year, instead of buying Christmas presents for your friends, exchange text-books. Chances are some of your friends will be taking classes next semester that you’ve already been in and vice versa. This is a great way to save money and have the textbooks you need for next semester.

There are even some great websites online that allow you to do text-book swaps. Search for the books you need and exchange them for textbooks you don’t need anymore.

I know for a lot of you out there money can get tight, especially in this economy. So hopefully this will provide you with an alternate solution to get the textbooks you need, while being able to save a little money at the same time.
